ZANZIBAR aka “Spice Island” is a beautiful tropical island on the East African coast. Inhabited for over 20,000 years with influences from the Bantu, Swahili, Portuguese, British, Arab, Asian and Indian cultures, Zanzibar made for a great inspiration for a soap reminiscent of the whole of Africa, its colors, crafts and smells. Once, the biggest exporter of cloves in the world, Zanzibar pushed us to “concoct” a spicy, complex and lasting fragrance, just like it’s history.
This sunset yellow smooth-as-marble bathing bar gets its smoothness from high quality African Shea Butter to give your skin lasting softness and glow. The spicy-floral fragrance comes from spicy essential oils of clove, cinnamon and turmeric that are also skin-repairing, florals such as Egyptian Geranium and woodsy oils like the Indonesian Patchouli.
